Forklift Driver (Refrigerated)

Note: This job is for Indeed Flex, but will take place at a client's worksite.

Job Title: Forklift Driver (Refrigerated)

Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift Times: Sunday - Thursday (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)

Location: Lancaster, TX

Indeed Flex is hiring Forklift Drivers (Refrigerated) for their Industrial client in Lancaster, TX.

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience operating a Reach Truck/Electric Palletdock Jack in a cold storage facility.
• Must be willing to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit in cold storage sites.
• Expect to have very hot and cold temperature variations in the warehouse.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. or more by hand.
• Flexible work schedule, open to working occasional weekends as needed.
• The job is 20% Forklift and 80% Heavy Material dock work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate PIT equipment such as an Electric Pallet jack and stand-up forklift in a cold storage facility.
• Perform pre-use inspection on equipment.
• Pick products and audit the numbers/product codes, ensuring food safety and quality standards.
• Ability to keep track of orders and product locations.
• Record inventory and arrange stock parts in a specific order for shipping.
• Communicate damaged products to the inventory or lead/supervisor.
