Any occurrence on the worksite that results in an injury to an employee and/or damage to client's property.
How should I notify Indeed Flex about my injury/incident?
In the event of an injury or property damage incident, you should notify your supervisor and submit a report within 24 hours by navigating the Profile page on your app:
Help Center -> Support -> Shift -> Workplace Injury and Property Damage Reporting
Where should I go for medical attention?
Flexers should be treated for workplace injuries as soon as possible following an injury. For non-emergency injuries, employees can seek medical treatment at an urgent care facility or hospital in a proximity convenient to you. For severe injuries/medical emergencies, please call 911 for medical assistance.
Will I be paid for lost time from work?
Lost time benefits vary by state and depend on several factors (work restrictions given by workers comp physician, state-mandated waiting period, client’s ability to accommodate restrictions, etc.). Each case will be reviewed by the worker's compensation adjuster assigned the claim eligibility. Please contact the adjuster assigned to your claim, as they will be in the best position to answer questions regarding eligibility.
Who should I reach out to if I have questions regarding my claim?
You should contact your adjuster with any questions regarding your workers compensation claim. If you have any issues getting in contact with an adjuster and do not receive a response to requests within 1-2 business days, please reach out to the insurance team at corpinsurance@indeed.com
