It’s with great sadness that I have to announce that, alongside Indeed, we at Indeed Flex have reduced headcount.
The mission of helping people get jobs is so noble because the importance of what a job can mean for someone is so large. This will be incredibly difficult for those impacted, and I am deeply sorry it has come to this. The decisions on those impacted were extremely difficult, but we ensured that they were done in a fair manner, and ultimately, that structurally Indeed Flex will be set up for success in the future.
As a subsidiary of Indeed, it means that as Indeed goes through this difficult process of layoffs, we must do so as well. Chris Hyams, CEO of Indeed, explains the journey to this point here.
And while we face challenging times ahead, I am confident that we will manage through it, and we will come out stronger on the other side.
