Forklift Driver

Note: This job is for Indeed Flex, but will take place at a client's worksite.

Job Title: Forklift Operator (Reach Truck Specialist)

Indeed Flex is seeking a reliable and safety conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for the fluid movement of goods, ensuring that our inventory is stored securely and shipments are prepared with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Maneuver forklifts (specifically Reach Trucks) safely within busy industrial environments.
• Material Handling: Safely stack/unstack large quantities of goods and move inventory from storage to loading bays.
• Inbound/Outbound Logistics: Unload deliveries, relocate goods to designated zones, and consolidate partial pallets for incoming stock.
• Packaging: Use industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to secure goods for safe transport.
• Maintenance & Safety: Perform regular equipment inspections for faults/damages and ensure driving aisles are free of spills or obstructions.
• Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety requirements and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience operating a Forklift Reach Truck is mandatory.
• Safety Gear: Must own and wear Steel Toe Safety Shoes at all times.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle warehouse duties including packaging, inventory counts, and manual labor as needed.
• Availability: Must be flexible to work Overtime (OT) as required by production demands.
