Job Title: Line Cook
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $27.00/hr (Pay determined based on experience level)
Location: Austin, TX

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and guest requests
• Follow portioning controls and maintain par levels
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Safely operate kitchen tools and equipment, including knives
• Read and accurately use thermometers to ensure proper food temperatures
• Communicate effectively with coordinators, management, and service staff about menu counts, food delays, and special requests
• Follow allergy and dietary restriction procedures carefully
• Keep workstations organized and clean throughout service
• Support kitchen team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a line cook or in a fast-paced kitchen preferred
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to multitask calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Comfortable working in confined spaces with variable noise and temperature levels
• Able to stand or walk for long periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and food quality
