General Warehouse Cleaner / Janitorial

Location: Lancaster, TX
Pay: $15/Hour

About the Role

A distribution company in Lancaster, TX is looking for a dependable General Warehouse Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This is a physically demanding cleaning position that requires frequent heavy lifting in addition to general janitorial duties.

IMPORTANT: This role requires moving and lifting 55-pound bags of product throughout the shift in order to properly sweep and clean warehouse areas. Candidates must be comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting and physical work for the duration of the shift.

Daily Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean warehouse floors and work areas
• Dust warehouse surfaces and equipment areas
• Keep warehouse spaces clean and organized
• Move and lift 55-pound bags of product to access and clean warehouse areas
• Perform frequent and repetitive heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Clean and maintain common areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Empty trash and dispose of waste appropriately
• Organize designated warehouse and cleaning areas
• Follow all warehouse safety and sanitation procedures
• Complete additional general cleaning duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Must be able to repeatedly lift and move up to 55 lbs throughout the shift
• Must be comfortable with extremely physical, heavy-lifting work
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, sweep, and lift for extended periods
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety
• Previous warehouse cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in an active distribution/warehouse environment
