Print Production Operator

Note: This job is for Indeed Flex, but will take place at a client's worksite.

Job Title: Machine Operator – Print on Demand

Location: La Vergne, TN

Pay: $19.50/hr

Shift Options

• Night Shift (Early Week): Sun–Tue + alternating Saturdays, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Night Shift (Late Week): Wed–Fri + alternating Saturdays, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

What you’ll do

• Operate high volume black and white digital printers
• Run book binders, saddle stitchers, folders, and gluers
• Operate precision trimmers, paper drills, and shrink wrap tunnels
• Rotate between printing, binding, trimming, and finishing stations as production needs shift
• Keep your station stocked with raw materials to prevent downtime
• Inspect finished products for quality and follow all safety protocols in the operating manual
• Flag equipment issues or bottlenecks to supervisors or maintenance specialists right away

What to expect on every shift

• 12-hour shifts on a production floor that moves quickly
• Hands-on training across the full print to ship process
• Working around industrial printing and finishing machinery
• Switching between workstations throughout the day
• Repetitive tasks that need steady attention to quality

What you must bring

• Willingness to cross-train on every machine and work any station
• Industrial machinery experience (preferred)
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and follow technical manuals
• A sharp eye for product quality and equipment performance
• Clear verbal communication skills

Physical requirements

• Stand, sit, and move for up to 12 hours per shift
• Perform repetitive motions
• Lift and move materials as needed
