Prep Cook – $19.00/hr – Austin Campus Kitchen

Indeed Flex is hiring Prep Cooks for a large campus dining operation in central Austin — steady work through the start of the semester, with day and evening shifts to pick from.

EARN $19.00/HR — WEEKLY PAY OR SAME DAY PAY AVAILABLE

Earn a $75 bonus after 5 consecutive shifts. Flexible day and evening shifts. Apply now and start September 4th. Terms apply.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare and assist with food production; label and date food
• Basic cooking including grilling and frying, following simple recipes
• Take food and refrigerator temperatures per food safety procedures
• Set up and break down the serving line and equipment
• Clean and sanitize counters, utensils, and floors through the shift; take out trash
• Complete basic production, sanitation, and waste log paperwork
• Follow allergen procedures when serving customers

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 18+ and able to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working at pace in a busy, high-volume kitchen
• Strong communication skills — this role speaks with customers in English
• Non-slip closed-toe shoes
