Job Title: Busser
Location: Austin, TX
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00/hr
Shifts: Vary based on client events; weekly, ongoing work

What you'll do

• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly for the next service
• Run food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables promptly and accurately
• Act as the liaison between Front of House and Back of House staff
• Communicate orders to chefs, flagging dietary restrictions and special requests
• Assist servers with beverage and meal service
• Keep folded napkins stocked for every meal period
• Complete side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking supplies
• Perform general cleaning with standard cleaning products to uphold health standards

• Fast-paced, upscale hospitality environment
• Constant movement between the dining room and kitchen
• Juggling multiple tasks while staying guest-focused
• Close teamwork with servers and kitchen staff

What you must bring

• Valid Food Handlers Card and TABC Certification (we’ll help pay for your Food Handler’s Card if you don’t have one).
• Knowledge of table settings and serviceware
• Clear communication skills with guests and team members
• Attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
• Completion of a required Induction (up to 2 hours) before picking up shifts. You must stay for the full session, and arriving more than 10 minutes late means rebooking into the next available class, where spots are limited

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without help
• Ability to push up to 150 lbs on a hand cart without help
• Ability to stand and walk for the full shift
