What you'll do

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to established recipes and standards
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to guests at private events and food service locations
• Operate espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and other café equipment safely and correctly
• Take customer orders accurately and process transactions through the POS system
• Keep workstations, equipment, dining areas, and service counters clean and sanitized
• Stock and replenish coffee, milk, syrups, cups, lids, and other supplies as needed
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking

What to expect on every shift

• Fast-paced, high-volume service, especially during event rushes
• Steady customer interaction throughout the shift
• Working near hot equipment, steam, and liquids
• Varied shift times, including opening and closing shifts

What you must bring

• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized during busy periods
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Previous barista or café experience is a plus but not required

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the full length of a shift
• Ability to lift and carry supplies such as milk crates and boxes of cups
• Comfort with repetitive hand and arm motions while preparing drinks
• Comfort working near hot equipment and liquids
