Bar Back – Hiring now!

Note: This job is for Indeed Flex, but will take place at a client's worksite.

Job Title: Barback
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $22/hr

Shifts are flexible and vary by event
Prior experience of at least 6 months in a bar setting is required.

What you'll do

• Set up and stock the bar before service
• Transport beverages, ice, and bar supplies to and from storage
• Assist bartenders with restocking and service needs during shifts
• Break down and clean the bar area at the end of service

What to expect on every shift

• Fast-paced, high-volume bar environment
• Frequent lifting and carrying of beverage cases and ice
• Standing and moving for the duration of the shift

What you must bring

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bar/event setting
• Comfort assisting bartenders and following direction under pressure

Physical requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift and carry beverage cases, ice, and bar supplies
• Ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods
