Line Cook (Same Day Pay!)

Job Title: Line Cook

Hourly Rate: $19.00/hr

Shift Times: Shift times will vary depending on client needs

Location: Austin, TX

Indeed Flex is hiring Line Cooks for their hospitality and dining service client in Austin, TX.

From 2/28-4/29 if you work 5 consecutive shifts with this client you will receive an additional $100 bonus! *Terms & Conditions apply*

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in food service is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Must arrive dressed in chef coats or cook’s jackets, with black pants, and be well groomed, wearing black closed-toe non-skid shoes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in food production using simple recipes, knife skills, and cooking equipment.
• Monitor food and refrigerator temperatures to uphold safety standards.
• Stock and maintain grab & go coolers, drinks, soup stations, convenience shelves, and condiments.
• Set up and dismantle serving lines and equipment as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks and adhere to food safety guidelines while providing exceptional customer service and accommodating customers with food allergies under supervisor instruction.
