Line Cook (Same Day Pay!)

Job Title: Line Cook

Hourly Rate: $18.00-25.00/hr

Shift Times: Shift times will vary depending on client needs

Location: Austin, TX

Indeed Flex is hiring Line Cooks for their hospitality and event catering clients in Austin, TX.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in food service/Line Cook role is preferred.
• Must be comfortable preparing food in front of guests.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Food handlers certification is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in food production using simple recipes, knife skills, and cooking equipment.
• Monitor food and refrigerator temperatures to uphold safety standards.
• Stock and maintain grab & go coolers, drinks, soup stations, convenience shelves, and condiments.
• Set up and dismantle serving lines and equipment as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks and adhere to food safety guidelines while accommodating customers with food allergies.
