HIRING EVENT — Walk In and Book Work

Monday, August 17, 2026 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM CDT Atascocita Branch Library 19520 Pinehurst Trail Dr, Atascocita (Humble), TX 77346

Indoors and air conditioned. Free parking. Arrive 10 minutes before your slot.

EARN $18.50/HR WITH SAME DAY PAY

• $18.50/hr
• Same Day Pay — take up to half your shift value the day you work
• W-2 employee, not a contractor — benefits and healthcare access
• Flexible shifts — event work from 4 to 12 hours, warehouse shifts around 8 hours
• Day, afternoon, and overnight shifts — weekend shifts may be required

SHIFTS OPEN THE SAME DAY

This is not a "we'll call you" event. Work for this client starts Monday August 17, the same day as the event, so if you get verified on site you can book a shift before you leave.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Load and unload furniture and event equipment at trade shows and large events
• Assemble and set up furniture on site
• Warehouse work — picking, staging, wrapping, and inventory counts
• Customer-facing work at live events, so professionalism matters here

WHERE THE WORK IS

The hiring event is at the Atascocita Branch Library. The warehouse itself is in the Garden Oaks area of north Houston, about 20 miles from the event venue, and event shifts run at venues across the Houston metro. That is a real drive, so check the shift location before you book and make sure it works for you. You will need a vehicle.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 18+ years old
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• A reliable vehicle — there is no transit to this venue or to most shift locations
• Reliable and punctual — these are live events, so a missed shift is a service failure for the client
• Able to handle Houston heat and humidity — event work is often outside and warehouse doors are frequently open, so summer shifts are hot. We are being straight with you about this

WHAT TO WEAR

Steel-toe shoes are required — you will not be able to work without them, so bring them to the event if you own a pair. Otherwise dress as you would for a job interview: a plain t-shirt with jeans or work pants, and closed-toe shoes. No loose clothing. The hi-vis safety vest is provided for you.

BRING WITH YOU

• Two forms of ID for I-9: driver's license, plus Social Security card, birth certificate, or passport
• Your bank routing and account number, so we can pay you. No bank account? Tell us when you arrive and we'll sort it
• Your phone, fully charged
• Headphones or earbuds if you own a pair — we have spares if you don't
